How does batman fight

It also says although he dosent use them he's an expert marksman and an expert with projectile weapons including bows, crossbows, and blowguns. Well at least we can officially put to bed the rumor of Batman being an expert in over martial arts as non cannon.

If anyone's interested I can post the info about his diet or workout routines, etc,i also have the Superman data book released at the same time if anyone's interested in that. I, of course, am interested in that Superman data book. Explore Wikis Community Central. Register Don't have an account?

DC Database Explore. DC Comics. The art is more focused on advancing to a favorable position from which you can strike your opponent as well as submitting an opponent through the use of chokes and locks. The position Batman is in is textbook BJJ.

This position is favorable for several reasons. Below you can see a fight in which Conor McGregor has mounted Dennis Siver, in almost the exact same position as Batman.

There are two major things we should note here. First, both Conor and Batman are loading up on a strike to their opponent. Second, both of them are using wrist control to strike more cleanly, and prevent their opponent from fighting back. So now we know that Batman knows how to advance position in BJJ, but what about submissions? The other hand is used to pull on the choking arm, tightening the choke. However, an arm in guillotine is usually applied while on your back, with your legs wrapped around your opponent not standing, as Batman is.

Below you can see a standing traditional guillotine, which is more similar to the one Batman is using. But what other fighting styles does he know? It doesn't seem like Batman favors one style over the other and instead flows through them all with the smoothness of an Arkham video game.

The Dark Knight simply whips out whatever punch or kick he needs based on what the situation demands. Kudos to the Dawn of Justice choreography and stunt team for making such a surprisingly nuanced fight scene. The scene itself is only four minutes long, but it contains so much action and Adrian's video only highlights how much care and specificity they put into it.

The rest of the film's action is certainly bombastic, but those scenes don't have quite the same punch as the warehouse fight. The warehouse scene is the best demonstration of Batfleck 's combat abilities, which is a little odd given that the movie is called Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

That title brawl is really more of a slugfest, though, with Batman opting for more basic power blows than the finesse he demonstrates in the video above. While Batman V Superman has many faults, you can't argue that it didn't produce the most action oriented Batman on film yet. If that kind of fighting is what a rusty Batman can do, then I can't wait to see the kind of damage he can do when Justice League rolls around on November 1, , or in his more grounded solo film, The Batman.
