That same year, she revealed she had not spoken to both Tori and her new partner, McDermott, in a long time. The year-old has had a turbulent relationship with her mother for several years.

Candy told People magazine in that she and her daughter weren't on speaking terms. Candy also shared with the outlet her plans to sell their family mansion, where she'd lived since Dean McDermott fires back at 'cowards' who criticized Tori Spelling's bikini picture. Spelling confirmed, adding her kids love their grandma's apartment, which she called "the manor in the sky.
